For local potters in need of bisque and glaze firing, Femme Sole Ceramic Studio is currently offering private services for bisque, and glaze firings in our electric kiln for up to cone 5/6.

To ensure your clay body is up to spec with our standard firings, we ask that you provide proof of purchase and exact cone reference for the clay and the glazes you intend to use to avoid any damages to your work and our equipment.

The fee for each bisque and glaze firing is $.03 per cubic inch. To figure out this total multiply L x W x H then multiply that total with $.03 That will be the dollar amount charged per piece. We do have a minimum height measurement of 2” to charge, and we round up all measurements to the 1/4”. So if your flat plate measures 8” round and 1” tall you will be charged for 8x8x2” plate.

Turn around time for production is approximately 14 days depending on our kiln load.

The Femme Sole Studio is not to be held responsible for a piece cracking, breaking, blistering, exploding or any other type of unsatisfactory result during firing.

Due to limited storage space we will secure your ceramic pieces safely indoors for a max of 14 days after notification of your completed firings. After the 14 days the items will be placed outdoors on garden shelves exposed to natures elements. We donate any items left after 30 days from your notification date.
